This very simple to make pudding is indulgent whilst being good for you. Chia seeds have a high density of omega 3 fatty acids, they are naturally high in protein and minerals, like calcium. They are anti-inflammatory and packed full of antioxidants. The consistency of a chia seed pudding is very similar to tapioca — gelatinous, thick, and creamy. This pudding makes a great breakfast, a snack or dessert.
- 300 ml unsweetened almond milk or any dairy-free milk of your choice
- 50 g chia seeds
- 3 tbsp raw cacao or unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1-2 tbsp Maple syrup adjust to your taste
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
- shavings of dark chocolate to garnish (optional)
